It highlights family values and the fact that “Family comes first.” The Elenco Theater Company is the National Theater Company of Mexico and this play has already traveled an international circuit.

VII “El Invencible” Regional Break Dance Contest
This annual event has grown to the point at whch it now brings together urban dance contestants, both individuals and groups, from all areas of Mexico. They compete in individual and collective choreography and creativity. Finals in three categories, including Hip Hop Choreography, will be taking place this afternoon.

Red Dress Run
Merida joins the ranks of clubs around the world who partake in the "sartorial" Red Dress Run -- for fun and for a good cause! Check out the photos from last week RDR in New Orleans for some fashion tips, and some fashion boo-boos! The run donations will go to two local charities: the elderly home in Santiago and Evolución Animal Shelter.
It also would be appreciated if folks can bring canned goods or dry foods. They will collect these and deliver them to the Santiago home, where they are really appreciative of any donations.

Yucatan lost this jazz, blues and trova icon not long ago, but she will forever be part of the musical heart of the people of the entire state and far beyond. Adrienne, as far as we know, there is nothing like Hotel Balam in either of those places, though there are many nice hotels. I suggest you check out TripAdvisor, as "comfortable" and "reasonable" are so subjective. Good luck!

Have spent a wonderful two weeks at Hotel Balam. Would love to spend some time in Tulum or Playa del Carmen in a comfortable but reasonable hotel. Please email me any reasonable suggestions.
