Our home is a hidden, private, tranquil oasis with garden and pool in the middle of a bustling city. The house is centered around a living room patio, perfect for outdoor living!
Guest access
Perfectly located in the Santa Ana neighborhood, fabulous restaurants, cafes, galleries, historic sites, hotels and shopping are just a quick walk away. Also, a yoga studio and neighborhood theatre are located in our block.
Interaction with guests
Our house manager is on call to assist you with any details to make your stay more enjoyable.
The neighborhood
Casa de Las Manos is in the lovely Santa Ana neighborhood of Merida’s Centro Historico. Santa Ana - the art's district of Merida - features galleries, cafes, a variety of fabulous restaurants, cocina economicas, churches, hotels, shopping and a neighborhood market.
Getting around
Public transportation is easy to use, and taxis are available very inexpensively, but most importantly, we are within easy walking distance of the Grand Plaza and Paseo Montejo.

3 night minimum rental required. 1 Week maximum stay. There is a sur-charge for rentals during Christmas to New Years' Eve holiday.

Maid service once a week, gardener and pool service included in rental fee.
Our property manager will provide a contract for rental at time of arrival, a refundable damage deposit equal to one night's stay will be collected by property manager. Cost of electricity over $300 MX provided in rental fee must be paid in cash by guests at end of stay (the meter will be read upon arrival and departure.) Upon checkout, the damage deposit will be refunded (assuming there is no damage) and the fee for utilities will be collected.
We reserve the right to cancel the reservation with no refund if the number of persons and make-up of the group does not match description provided at time of rental (i.e. "one couple with 2 children" is really 8 guys with a dog. . .)
House Rules
We are experienced property renters and take very good care of our home. We expect you to do the same. No pets, no excessive noise after 11pm. Please care for the house as if it were your own and exercise regard for our neighbors.
Cancellations
Strict. Cancel up to 7 days before your trip and get a 50% refund plus service fees back.

Hello. My husband and I are looking for a 2+ bedroom house rental with a fully equipped kitchen (my huband is a chef), nice garden and pool. My father may also visit for a period of time. We would like to stay in Merida or around its environs from mid December to mid April. Our arrival time is flexible. We are looking for a reasonable monthly rental. We would also consider staying in a couple of houses during our stay if one is not available for the entire 4 months.

Hi!
My wife and I are considering coming to Merida next March 10-17 along with our two adult children and their spouses. (One couple are old hands in Merida).
We're a couple in our 60's, quiet, and interested in the culture.
May I ask several questions?
-There is no actual price on the ad for the house (that I can find). :-) What would be the rate for a week?
-Of course, do you have availability?
-What is the actual location?
-And finally, this is a critical question for our son-in-law who will need to keep in contact with his business. How reliable is the internet and how available is the access (good wi-fi)? They cannot come if he cannot keep in contact easily. Would not be using much bandwidth at all but reliability is the key.
