Yucatan Symphony Orchestra: Cinderella
Program 13: The opera La Cenicienta (Cinderella), June 24, 26 & 28 are the remaining dates. The last symphony of the Spring Season is always one of the best events in Merida for the year. For tonight’s performance, the Concert Director is Juan Carlos Lomonaco and the Scene Director is Horacio Almada. Rossini’s Cinderela, tonight, features: Gabriela Thierry, Oscar de la Torre, Josue Ceron, Sergio Meneses, Claudia Rodriguez, Irasema Terrazas, and Emilio Carsi. If you love opera, great music, and performances by an ensemble that cannot be matched anywhere, this is the concert to see!

This trio is one of the oldest and best loved trova trios in Merida and have earned their reputation as one of the best.

(Mexico 2012) On February 14th, 1974, 19-year-old Dení Prieto Stock was killed by the Mexican army in the town of Nepantla, along with four of her comrades in the Fuerzas de Liberación Nacional (National Liberation Forces), a forerunner to the Zapatistas.

Valladolid English Library: Movie Night
The movie tonight is “The Goonies", especially intended for children. Everyone is welcome, but children must be accompanied by an adult.
