ARTE A MANO, an important event where the artistic work of more than 80 participants, coming from the three states of the Yucatán Peninsula, is exhibited.

For nine years, AANY (Amigos Artistas / Artesanos Nuevos de Yucatán) has sponsored this event.
AANY aims to become the largest nonprofit organization to promote art & handcrafts of the peninsula.
AANY, founded by Joan Farrell (2008), has been working to identify artists who produce high quality pieces. This year, AANY proudly exhibits the work of 82 artist, many of whom count the event sales as an important part of their annual incomes. Many gallery & shop owners attend ARTE A MANO to place orders.
The other goal of ARTE A MANO is to introduce of the work of 10-15 new artists. Throughout the year AANY’s committee travels through the Peninsula to identify new artists who stand out for the quality in their execution and use of materials, as well as in the development of unique and innovative products.
