Yaxcaba, Yucatan
We would like to reach out to you once again, on behalf of the children and families in the two villages we visited last year. San Marcos and Xlapak. We have decided, for the first time, to help the same people again. These two small towns are so isolated and so poor we really feel, that with your help, we can make a difference for them. We have already spoken to the townswomen who told us this was a very hard year for farming. Anything we can do for them will be so gratefully appreciated.
Our goal is to raise $3500 dollars to buy a bigger food basket for each family, a blanket per family, toothbrush, toothpaste and sandals for each child and, of course, a gift from Santa. We are asking for your help in way of cash donations or used toys.
Become a part of this yearly event. We have posted last year´s video for you to see the children and the families we will have the opportunity to help again. They were so surprised and grateful last year, so we are very excited to be able to go back and do it again. This truly feels like the meaning of Christmas.
If you are able to donate this year you can do so by e-transfer through your bank account (Canadian bank accounts) or through Paypal. You will find the link to Paypal on our website at www.thetruemeaningofchristmas.org. Join the event by going to our Facebook page.
THANK YOU for helping us to help the very needy people of these villages.
