MOVIE NIGHT AT CASA HAMACA!
Canuck night at the movies courtesy of Richard Perry (who worked on this movie). In Richard's words: "It was only released in Europe, under the name DARK SUMMER. It is far from great cinema - definitely a B movie, and extremely dark in places but there is some real acting talent from Jean-Hugues Anglade, Connie Nielson and Mia Kirshner, and even Robert Culp at the end of his career. Some good suspense. and effects. The Saskatchewan places and vistas are great and some fun music, especially jamming country style with the cello and Jack Semple, well known Regina guitar virtuoso. The opening sequences are really great, and the four Volvo "picture cars" used performed perfectly and look great on screen. (patting my own back strenuously)."
Food pairing special is Canuck Chili. $80 pesos includes a beer or a glass of wine.
