This is a concert by one of Yucatan's best loved duets: Sonido Abierto (Rudy Vallado and Veronica Cabrera). Realizing the close ties between the people of Yucatan and Cuba, they reduce the music to its lowest terms, i.e. the music loved by the ordinary people who live and work in the streets and villages of Yucatan and Cuba. This is comfort music for the soul and everyone will enjoy it.
