If you had to choose only one performance to see during this festival, this would have to be it. This huge talent is one of Yucatan’s treasures – well, he’s Cuban, but he’s ours now! – and he has a long career as teacher and mentor to the stars right here in Merida. We never see enough of Alberto Alvarez!
